ENGINEERING THE STRUCTURE BEHIND REFINERY PERFORMANC,

RAS TANURA HEATERS

STRUCTURED FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE

Project Overview

The Ras Tanura Heaters works form part of the refinery's process infrastructure, supporting high-temperature processing operations within a complex industrial environment.

The structural systems surrounding fired heaters are designed to accommodate process equipment, elevated components, access platforms and associated services while maintaining the stability and accessibility required for refinery operations.

Within this demanding environment, steelwork must be accurately coordinated with process equipment, piping and existing infrastructure to translate engineering requirements into a safe and functional installation.

  • HEATER STRUCTURE
  • Structural steel framing supporting the fired-heater installation and associated process components.
  • ELEVATED PLATFORMS
  • Steel platforms and access structures providing operational and maintenance access around the heater.
  • EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS
  • Structural elements supporting equipment and process components integrated within the heater system.
  • BRACING SYSTEM
  • Integrated steel bracing providing stability to the elevated structural framework.
